How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
MacKinnon Dance Academy is well-known in our community, this longevity plus a wide variety of dance disciplines including Scottish Highland Dancing helps to make people feel comfortable with this school. We are the only certified school in Ventura or Santa Barbara County for Scottish Dancing and now for MACS-ercise "LOSE IT" a unique weight-loss through low-impact aerobic exercise to dance music from the 60's though today's hits.

I am located off of Gonzales Rd in Oxnard. Turn into the PALMS Shopping Center from Gonzales. I am located right next door to the mattress stores Sit N Sleep.

We accept Credit Cards, Cash and Checks. We also have an automatic-withdrawal system which customers can opt to enroll in.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Joy MacKinnon is the sole owner and director. Joy is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce, FUSTA (Federation of United States Teachers Association), and BATD, British Association of Teachers of Dance.
What are your hours of operation?
Professional ballet class from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Instructor Jefferson Molony. All experienced dancers are welcome to attend this class Monday through Friday. Cost is $15.00 and the lesson is two hours. Other Classes begin at 3:30pm and continue until 8:30pm Monday through Friday. Saturday classes begin at 8:00 am and continue until 3:00 pm
